Kingsbarns Conservation Village
The village is situated 6 miles South along the coast from St. Andrews and 4 miles North from Crail on the A917. Daisybank Cottage and The Smithy are situated on the same plot just off the A917 in the village on a road called The Smiddyburn. The road is on the right when travelling north on the A917 from Crail and on the left when travelling south on the same road from St Andrews

By Rail: The nearest Railway station is just north of St Andrews at Leuchars 10.41miles, (16.75km) from Kingsbarns. From Leuchers Railway station, go through St Andrews towards Crail on the A917.

By Air: The nearest Airport is Dundee Riverside Airport 17.27miles, (27.79km) from the village. Cross the Tay Bridge and take the A917 south through Leuchers and St Andrews. From Edinburgh airport, cross the Forth Road Bridge to Kirkcaldy then proceed east on the A917 to Kingsbarns. Take the turning signposted 'Smiddyburn' on the right past the Barns Hotel and the property is first on the right. The journey should take is around an hours drive. Glasgow Airport is around 2 hours drive on the M8 then follow the same directions after crossing the Forth Road Bridge.

By Ferry: From Rosyth take the M90 north to J2A, follow the A92 to Kirkcaldy proceeding east on the A917 to Kingsbarns. Take the turning signposted 'Smiddyburn' on the right past the Barns Hotel and the property is first on the right.
